Media Day with Stone Bridge Girls Soccer

Instagram post of girls soccer with image created on media day

I was contacted by Stone Bridge Girls Soccer to help them create images for banners and game day posts in Instagram. I agreed and packed up my backdrop, my stand, and my MagMod Beauty Dish and headed to the school. We were able to utilize a small space in the library for individual and group pictures.

The focus was to capture 2-4 images of each girl with poses they liked. I shot each player in 3/4 length so that they could easily be used in an Instagram post. Once I finished the session, I edited each image. Each girl received each of their poses with retouching and professional editing. I then changed the background so that they were all consistent. This provides a nice look for the portraits regardless of a girl’s height and where they may have stood in relation to the backdrop. I also provided them with transparent images so that they could easily be added to any Canva project. I loved seeing the images they chose for each game.

The team mom also utilized the images to create senior banners which were hung at the field. When I attended the games to take game pictures, I loved seeing the banners hanging up. They looked great!

Media pictures are really fun! I love the energy that players bring to the event and the finished products. They produce memories that will last a lifetime. I know that I still have my pictures from when I played basketball and swam in high school.
